1. Who we are

Covee, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that builds software for employee benefits brokers. In this policy, "Covee", "we" and "us" mean Covee, Inc.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data through covee.ai and when you contact us. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and handle personal data from other countries to the same standard.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the website:

• Details you give us when you request a demo: your name, work email, brokerage or company, and anything you write in the notes field.
• Details you give when you book a meeting through our scheduling page: your name, email and the time you choose.
• Anything you send us by email, including attachments.
• Information about how you use the website: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the page that referred you.

We do not ask for NRIC numbers, health information or financial account details through this website. Please do not send them.

3. How we use it

We use personal data to:

• reply to your request and arrange and run a demo;
• follow up about Covee, if you asked us to or have an existing business relationship with us;
• understand how the website is used so we can improve it;
• keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse;
• meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We only send you marketing messages with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Consent

By submitting the demo form, booking a meeting or emailing us, you consent to us collecting and using your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. If you do, we will stop using your data for those purposes, although we may not be able to continue helping you.

5. Cookies and analytics

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with trusted service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, scheduling, analytics, communications and productivity providers, and only as much as they need.

These providers process data on our instructions and are bound to protect it. We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.

7. Transfers outside Singapore

Covee is a US company, and several of our service providers store data in the United States or other countries. When we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we make sure the recipient is bound to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA, as the PDPA requires.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted or anonymised within two years of our last contact with you.

9. How we protect it

We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access limited to people who need it, and providers with recognised security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the PDPA requires.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
• correct personal data that is wrong or incomplete;
• stop using your personal data, by withdrawing consent.

We will reply within 30 days, or tell you within that time when we will be able to. We may need to confirm your identity first.

For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, email our Data Protection Officer at contact@covee.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will tell you before it takes effect.
